Our Story

Moda Domani stems from the heart of a 6-year-old boy from Tehran, Iran. At that young age Anthonio was always in and out of his father’s factory, sneaking different swatches of fabric to bring home and make doll clothes for the little girl next door. Using the small sewing kit and scissors he would make these clothes in hopes of impressing his crush. From then on, he began working with his father, tending to the family business and learning those detailed skills. When he was 19 years old, he moved to the United States and began attending college studying fashion design and merchandising at a community college in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. During his studies he would tutor and teach other students, while at the same time learning English. Attending college allowed him to hone his craft while learning English to speak and convey his art in words recognized in this country. Overtime he has designed bridal gowns, children’s clothing, women's and men’s custom clothing. Anthonio and Moda Domani have been operating in the Kansas City area since 1999, but have been in operation since 1986!
